This is How it Goes

I have been happily married for the past thirteen years. I left my job as a nurse in a doctor's office when my son was born in 2000. His little sister came along in the Fall of 2003 and the two keep me very busy.

Summing It UP

Sunday, May 20, 2007

Here's our weekend, in chronological order:

1 New car for me, a Honda Pilot. Love it!
1 Company picnic. A good time had by all. None of us won at bingo though.
1 New neighbor's crawfish boil.
1 Cousin's crawfish boil.
1 Six year old acting about two years younger than his age. Damn high functioning autism!
1 three year old with 102 fever and an exorcist-like vomiting episode.
1 daddy working nights tonight and tomorrow.
1 mom ready to run for the hills!

It's Only a Year Away!

We are finally taking a real, no-kids-allowed vacation! On May 12, 2008 we will take a cruise out of Galveston headed for Cozumel. For five glorious nights Eddie and I will: eat great meals at our own pace, sleep when we are tired, and hear no crying, fighting or whining from our offspring. And the coolest part is Bryan and Kari are going too, and we get to celebrate their anniversary with them.

You might ask why we booked a vacation a YEAR in advance. They fill up fast. When I called, they only had 4 of the cabins we wanted left.
I hope the wait goes by quickly!
